Shana has a Fee for Service practice with payment requested at the time of service. A detailed statement will be provided that may be submitted to insurance for possible reimbursement.

Shana Olson is a licensed clinical social worker providing individual and family therapy to adolescents and adults in a nonjudgmental environment. She works with clients to identify areas that are causing them distress, and draw from a variety of therapeutic approaches to meet each individual's needs. She utilizes evidence-based treatments such as cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused therapy. She has expertise in working with clients who are experiencing depression, anxiety, anger, behavioral issues, coping with transitions, and conflictual relationships.

Education & Training

Shana completed a Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) at the University of Pennsylvania in 2005 and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Michigan in 2000. Her experience includes providing direct treatment as well as management of clinical programs in schools, through the juvenile justice system, and in a partial hospitalization program. She works with people of all races, religions, genders, and sexual orientations in a culturally competent nonjudgmental environment.
